A.R. John Hitchings
John Hitchings is a partner in the Firm's Business Litigation and Broker-Dealer Regulation Practice Groups. A significant portion of Mr. Hitchings' practice is focused on defending claims unique to the financial services industry, including claims for fraud, conversion, unsuitability, churning and unauthorized trading. Mr. Hitchings regularly appears before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in all phases of arbitration proceedings, as well as state and federal court. Mr. Hitchings also advise clients in connection with internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, enforcement proceedings, responses to non-party subpoenas, and often prepare clients for trial examinations, depositions, and other “on-the-record” testimony.
Mr. Hitchings has also been selected as a “New York Metro Rising Star" by Thomson Reuter's Super Lawyers Magazine for the years 2014-2017.
