James M. Turner
James M. Turner joined Sichenzia Ross Ference LLP in December 2002. Mr. Turner advises public and private companies, underwriters and investment funds in a wide variety of federal and state securities laws and investment and capital-raising transactions, including public offerings, secured and unsecured private equity financing transactions (PIPEs), debt and venture capital transactions.
In addition, Mr. Turner has extensive experience with reverse mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, secured and unsecured private equity financing transactions (PIPEs), 1934 Exchange Act filings, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, corporate formations and restructurings, employment and shareholder agreements, as well as with the formation of private equity hedge funds.
Mr. Turner was nominated to the 2015 New York Metro Rising Star list, an honor reserved for no more than two and one-half percent of the lawyers in the New York Metro area.
Awards & Recognition
Mr. Turner graduated cum laude from Elmira College with a B.A. in political science and international relations in 1997 and cum laude from American University, Washington College of Law in 2002, where he was a member of the American University International Law Review.
Mr. Turner is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
