Seema Rambaran joined Sichenzia Ross Ference in August 2018 as a Law Clerk in the firm’s Securities and Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Department.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rambaran worked for an elected official in Queens, NY. She served as the first Director of Guyana’s Competition and Consumer Affairs Commission (South America), a regulatory agency mandated to enforce the country’s competition and fair trading law as well as the consumer protection law.
During law school, Ms. Rambaran was a recipient of the New York State Bar Association Antitrust Fellowship. She interned as an Antitrust and Consumer Protection intern at the United States Federal Trade Commission.
Ms. Rambaran received her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she was Editor-in-Chief of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Law Journal and a Fellow of the Freedman Institute for the Study of Legal Ethics. Ms. Rambaran received her M.A. in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Public University and her B.A. in Government and Politics from St. John’s University.
Ms. Rambaran took the February 2019 Uniform Bar Examination and is awaiting admission to practice in the state of New York.
